Esther trained at the European College of Bowen Studies and has been a registered member of the Bowen Therapy Professional Association since 2012. She has an ITEC Diploma in Holistic Massage, Anatomy & Physiology and attends regular professional development courses to continue to increase her knowledge and understanding of the body, most recently completing a Shiatsu Foundation at the Bristol School of Shiatsu.

Esther was previously a professional dancer, teacher and movement specialist for 15 years, having attained a BA (Hons) in Dance at the Laban Centre for Movement & Dance in London. Throughout her career she developed an interest in physical therapy, anatomy and physiology, through receiving treatment herself for various injuries and her subsequent progression into remedial bodywork felt like a very natural progression for her.  She has a special interest in empowering clients with self-help exercises and approaches to use within their daily lives.

Esther also works in the area of neuro-rehabilitation supporting a client with an acquired brain injury and dementia, as well as working as a specialist mentor for students with disabilities and mental health conditions at Bath Spa University.
